Storing very large values
I am working on a task where I need to store a very large array of data in an xml file. The array will be stored as
A = 42
A = 589
A = -12
A = 788
I understand that the most suitable type to store a variable of this magnitude is a BigInteger. The problem is that once this has been converted from it’s binary representation (which is what I presume it is in.NET) into an actual Java object, it’s size will become very large (it’ll be something like 1200 bytes) and I’m not sure if this is a problem or not.
I’m thinking that this will be a problem if I attempt to store the XML with the data. The current xml is something like
